Royce Gracie vs Kimo. What Really Happened?

Session Breakdown

In this video, we revisited one of the craziest fights in UFC history, Royce Gracie vs. Kimo. The fight was on September 9, 1994 at UFC 3 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Royce Gracie shocked the martial arts world in UFC 1 and 2 when, despite being the smallest fighter, he defeated everyone by using his family style of Jiu-Jitsu which consisted on using takedowns, armlocks and chokeholds. By UFC 3, he was the man to beat and Kimo was up for the challenge. Royce weighed in at 176 lbs and Kimo at 250 lbs. In this earliest events pretty much everything was allowed, head butts, hair pulling, groin strikes. The bout was full of action inside and outside the cage.
